Spanish Springs is a unique western dude ranch and resort which one can ride to by traveling north from Wild Horse Acres. Don't be mislead here either. Spanish Springs is a lot further away than the mountains you see off in the distance. By horse it is at least a days ride assuming you know the route. By car it is 30 minutes up Highway 395.

Spanish Springs offers excellent riding stables in a modern setting. Wild Horse Acres offers excellent riding capabilities in the original wild west setting. There is also a government campground north of Wild Horse Acres and south of Spanish Springs called Ramhorne Springs. This campground is somewhat rustic compared to Spanish Springs. However, the government campground offers more facilities for camping than Wild Horse Acres.
