18.69.030 Uses Allowed by Right. One single-family dwelling, farm buildings and accessory buildings and uses; a second single- family dwelling, provided that the dwelling is to be used in conjunction with an operation agricultural unit and is located on a parcel which meets the minimum parcel size criteria; general agriculture, crop, and tree farming, logging, grazing, animal husbandry, general nurseries, and greenhouses; private airstrips accessory to an agricultural operation; hunting clubs or lodges; hydroelectric power plants; small-scale commercial firewood processing; temporary stands for the sale of agricultural products; and other similar in nature uses.

18.69.040 Uses Allowed by Permit. Sawmill operations, large-scale firewood processing, accessory buildings and structures; commercial poultry, fur, frog, fish or hog farms, dairies or feedlots; agricultural product processing and packing facilities and accessory uses; retail nurseries and permanent stands for the sale of agricultural products produced on the premises and related incidental items; additional dwellings, labor housing; mining or procession of precious metal or mineral resources including sand, and gravel mining and hot plants; electrical generating facilities if the produced power is intended for sale or distribution off premises, other than hydroelectric projects; exploration wells for geothermal, gas, and oil resources; commercial recreation facilities including, but not limited to guest ranches, trap shooting clubs, rifle ranges, campgrounds, and recreational vehicle parks, and other similar uses determined by the Planning Director.

Right verses Permit

This is open to a lot of interpretation.

With an automobile, one does not have a right to drive a car on a public street, road, or highway. As such, one is said to be privileged to drive on these roads so they need a license. When it comes to arms, right verses permit doesn't mean a thing. In California, one must have a permit to bear arms within the county of San Francisco or Los Angeles and most the other highly populated areas. This is contrary to the United States Second Amendment which clearly makes it a right to bear arms. Bearing arms is different than owning them. Bearing arms infers loaded, operational, and on ones person, to tote, carry, and maintain. Something which would be a reasonable idea out here; beings how there are rattle snakes, wolves, and occasional stampedes.

However, one may infer from the use of Right verse Permit with this title means as a Right, all one has to bring in the carpenters. Better yet, build it yourself, no plans, no fees, none of that stuff required for permits.

However! Permits do have their value. If one obtains a permit for the "well" as in dwelling, the person who bought the place would know the well's casing is probably good all the way down. Same with the building any structure. Furthermore, if the local officials like what you are doing and you pay for there advice, local officials tend to be helpful. Conversely, argue with them, possibly even winning the argument but really angering the public officials, and sooner or later, what goes around will come around.

If one were to go get a permit for electrical wiring, the question would be; what power you planning on putting in? 450KV packs quite a wallop. One would need to put in transformers. On the other hand, 3 phase lines can be tapped like a transformer antenna system and it is possible to obtain free power.

With the right attorney, one would be able to build a motel for horse riders. Hunting Clubs, lodges, and animal husbandry equals dude ranch. Bring in the carpenters and instant dude ranch. What permit? What permit fees?

No permit means no plans. No plans means, no pre determined structure. Square, round, big, small, wood, steel, concrete, on stilts or underground; what ever! Even make a private airport.

With a permit, and without up setting the locals, Wild Horse Acres offers a large amount of possibilities.
